Dev past: Dolina Złota Mod (Gothic 2)

Once upon a time (circa 2009) as a teenager I used to be very invested in modding of Gothic games.
I never delivered any big and famous mod but one mod I was able to be part of was small learning project called "Dolina Złota".
Back then I used a screen name of Abubaker and became a part of "Jarkendar Studio Team" mainly as a 2D artist.

It requires base game of Gothic 2 with expansion.
It's installshield installer so it may have problems running on modern systems.
The solution it to run a command in commandline "Dolina_Zlota.exe" /extract_all"
From what I gathered this was not the final version as some assets are missing and some quests are broken but this is the only one I have access to right now.

Here is some work I did on that (I know it's not at all impressive but I want to show it off either way):




There was also a Jarkendar themed save screen but it's missing from the version I have so consider it lost to time. Not a big loss tho.

It's not an impressive work but it was my first experience in remote cooperation aside from few small and sadly unreleased RPG Maker XP projects.
